FAA Course Approval and IA Renewal Credit

FAA approval or acceptance applies only to a specific course and delivery format. A course is described as FAA-approved or FAA-accepted only after that status has been verified for that course, and the course description will identify it, along with any eligible training hours. Unless a course description states otherwise, the course has not been verified as FAA-approved or FAA-accepted. Inspection Authorization (IA) renewal credit eligibility also depends on the specific course and delivery format.

At this time, IA renewal credit is available only for qualifying Avolatus in-person courses. Avolatus online courses do not provide IA renewal credit.

Course-specific approval information and eligible training hours will be identified in the applicable course description.

Training supports professional development. Results depend on each participant and organization, and completion does not guarantee any regulatory outcome.

Compliance responsibility

Operators and certificate holders remain responsible for meeting all applicable regulatory requirements.
